January Birchbox

January's Birchbox had much cuter packaging than my previous one. I think I can even reuse this box as storage in the future. As for the contents, I mostly received skincare and haircare products vs. makeup. 

I was slightly disappointed because I prefer receiving makeup products more than the beauty products. Nonetheless, they all seem to be good products to sample. 

Inside the box, it contained:

• 2 small tubs of Beauty Protector Protect & Treat Hair Mask
• Small tube of Embryolisse Lai-Creme Concentre
• Moisturizer that can act as a primer and makeup remover
• Joie perfume sample
• Blend of mandarin, rose, and sandalwood
• ModelCo Party Proof Lipstick
• Matte deep mauve lipstick - very smooth
• Recommend you to exfoliate your lips before putting this on because it will emphasize your dry lips and creases 
• TOCCA Crema da Mano - Cleopatra hand cream 
• Grapefruit & cucumber scent

Overall, the products are quite nice. I gave the lipstick to my Mom because I think that colour suits her more than me. The fragrance is a light scent good for the spring or summer time. It's also handy how the hair masks are small enough for travelling and the hand cream is a great size to put into my purse.

I hope next month I will receive more exciting makeup products!
